The quiz asks you right at the start whether you have any allergies, intolerances or health conditions we should know about, and our nutritionist team keeps out of your box everything your answers rule out. Two things you need to know. Our snacks may contain traces of gluten, egg, peanuts, soya, milk and tree nuts, among others, because some ingredients share production lines: the ingredients and allergens of every snack are on the back of the pack and on the page its QR code opens. And if your allergy is severe, talk to us on the chat before your first box, so someone on the team can go through your case with you. None of this replaces your doctor or your own dietitian.

There is. In the quiz you tick “vegetarian only” or “vegan only” and our nutritionist team chooses your box within that rule, no exceptions. If you change your mind later, you change the answer in your account and your next box follows suit. And if a snack you marked to keep in your future boxes no longer fits the new rule, we tell you before deciding for you.

No, and the difference matters to us. A consultation with a dietitian is serious work, tailored to you and your health, and no box replaces it. What our nutritionist team does here is something else: they choose, from our own range, the snacks that make sense for you from your quiz and your votes. That's snack selection, not diagnosis, prescription or clinical care. If you have a health condition, your doctor or your own dietitian should guide you; we choose within what they say.

They don't. Keep them at room temperature, in a desk drawer or a kitchen cupboard, sealed in their packs. The shelf life varies from snack to snack and is printed on each pack, and none leaves us with less than a month to go.

The box is made for one person: the one who answered the quiz. There are sweet and savoury snacks for very different tastes, and nothing stops you sharing it at home, but it was chosen for you, and that's how it makes sense. If you want it for a child, the rule is the same as for any food: an adult checks the ingredients and allergens of each snack before handing it over, and they're on the back of the pack and on the page its QR code opens. If there are allergies, the quiz is the place to say so.

Every snack has a QR code on the front. Point your camera at it and its page opens: it shows the snack, asks whether you liked it, and you pick one of three faces. If you liked it, the option to keep it in your future boxes appears, and you also choose how many you want. The sad face takes that snack out of your next boxes. In your account, the “Rate snacks” tab of “My personalised box” has the whole box in front of you, so you can vote in one go. Your votes are read by people, not by a machine, and they go into your next box if they arrive before it's put together.

One concrete thing: if your box didn't respect what you asked for in the quiz, we refund the whole amount, delivery included. To claim it, write to us within eight days of receiving the box, with what makes you say it wasn't personalised: photos and your order details are enough. We look into it, and if it checks out, the refund is in full. The guarantee applies to your personalised box; it doesn't cover gift boxes or catalogue products, and it doesn't apply when the difference comes from incomplete quiz answers or from preferences you changed after the box had left.

Write to us within eight days of receiving it, through the chat in your account or at hello@ohmysnacks.net, with a photo of what arrived and your order number. We sort it without a fuss: we replace what was missing or damaged in your next box, or refund the corresponding amount, whichever you prefer. If the box looks damaged on the outside, it's worth photographing it before you open it.

Yes, whenever you like. In your account, the “Preferences” tab of “My personalised box” opens your answers one by one: flavours you dislike, how much of each flavour you want, categories you dislike, conditions and allergies, and goals. You edit whichever you like. Our nutritionist team then chooses your next box from the new answers. If a change clashes with a snack you marked to keep in your future boxes, we tell you before deciding for you. And if you answered the quiz but never finished the purchase, your answers aren't lost: write to hello@ohmysnacks.net and we pick up from there.

Through the chat in your account. It's read and answered by people on our nutrition team, not a bot, and it's the right place to say what you'd like to try, what you don't want to see again, or to ask why a snack ended up in your box. For anything to do with your account, payments or deliveries, you can also write to hello@ohmysnacks.net.

You can, in two ways. If you want to surprise them, choose one of our Gift Boxes, ready-made and sent to whatever address you give us. If you want to give the whole experience, give a Gift Card: they answer the quiz and the box is made for them, which is the only way a box can be personalised. Each subscription belongs to one person, so you can't take one out in your name for someone else to receive; the Gift Card takes care of that.

No. Each subscription belongs to one person, because the box is built from one particular person's quiz and votes, and two boxes with the same answers would be the same box. If you want one for someone else, the Gift Card is the way: they take their own quiz and get their own box. If you want more snacks for yourself, change the size of your box in your account.

You pay by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), Google Pay or PayPal, and the subscription renews on the same payment method, with an email before each charge. If a friend gave you a code, enter it at checkout on your first box; it's one code per order, they don't stack. And if a payment fails, we email you and you can update your card in your account, without losing your subscription.

We do. The Company Box brings 100, 200, 300, 500 or 1,000 snacks to your team, as a one-off order or on subscription, chosen by our nutrition team; and for hotels there's a box made for rooms and breakfasts. The Company Box has its own page, with the prices: For Business, in the footer. For hotels, write to us through Contact Us and we'll put yours together.

It is. The snack wrappers use a single type of plastic, which makes recycling straightforward, and the printing is digital, easier to remove, which helps the material be recycled. The box carries the FSC seal, the international certification for responsible forest management. And there is a less obvious one: single servings exist against waste too, because they give the right amount and leave fewer leftovers.
